Snowpocalypse

Over the weekend, starting friday, 24+ inches were dropped on DC. This past winter is the 2nd most snow fall DC has historically seen. I had to work Saturday and Sunday night. I was able to walk to Union Station (little under a mile from our house) and the metro was running underground only. The hospital was running a service to take employees between the metro and the hospital. Georgetown also put employees up in near by hotels and many employees slept at the hospital.
Since I was working starting Saturday night, I missed all the fun of the snowball fights on the National Mall and the craziness that was DC saturday day. We're supposed to get another 10-12 inches today and tomorrow, but it hasn't started yet... we'll see. I'm so ready for spring!
