My younger brother, Taylor, came up to visit me last week and we went to the monuments at night. He has never been to DC so we metro'd out to the National Mall and walked to the Lincoln Memorial and back. It was absolutely beautiful. This was my first time going at night, when everything is lit up. It has a magical feeling at night. Taylor was in awe of how massive everything was in person - and he is a really good photographer so he came prepared with his camera and multiple lenses plus the tripod etc. he got a lot of good shots. I however too this picture of the Washington Monument taken from the WWII memorial.

Taylor visits
