From the beginning...I worked 7a-7p Friday and Saturday. Steph flew in from Iowa Saturday morning to stay the night, before Dan picked her up Sunday to head up to Pennsylvania. We planned for a little later dinner at a yummy mexican restaurant near Union Station called La Loma. It ended up being quite the crowd at dinner. Brandon, Trey and Joey (good friends from High School) were up visiting Greg, another HS friend, in Baltimore and all made a trip down to DC for the day. So good to catch up with them since visits are so few and far between. So they were at dinner, along with Christine, Lori, Steph and me of course. Then Mike & Gary (College friends) Both of whom live about 6 blocks from us on Capitol Hill made it to dinner and Charlin. Charlin and I were RA's together at UNCW for a year and she just moved up for an internship. So after a long dinner, lots of chips & salsa, and a few margaritas we headed back to our house before going out to a bar close to the house.
Sunday morning we enjoyed a nice brunch at Eastern Market then drove out and did a little afternoon shopping in Georgetown. Sunday night was a UNCW reunion dinner...let me explain, no too much, let me sum up; Dan got into town Sunday afternoon so the dinner crowd was Dan & Steph. Raff, Colt, Julian & Jason (Julian and Jason were honorary Seahawks for dinner. Both guys went to HS with Christine & Raff) Mike, Gary & Fritz (Fritz just moved up, and started work today at Custom Ink - the same company Christine, Jason & Colt work for). And Will Dennis, LaGreta & Charlin - (Greta is in school up in DC & Will is working up here, both have been up here for about a year). It was so good to see Will & Greta, it has been so long! It felt like having a little bit of Wilmington for the night and really started my week off great!
